/jumps on the bandwagon

This journal won't be terribly enthusiastic because I'm kind of tired and rather hot and sort of bleh, but I really did have a good time.

I managed to magically get better Christmas Eve, and convinced people I was well enough to come. So, went over to my uncle's (technically my grandpa's condo) for family tiems. It was good tiems.

As for my loot... eh, there's not much, but that's okay. Wasn't expecting anything lol.

A bunch of art stuff; four copics I needed, a little tube of white Gouache, 4 different tubes of coloured lead and an extra red... I feel like I'm forgetting something. OH, a moleskin notebook thingy. It's so pretty, and doesn't have many pages, so now I don't know what I'll actually write in it ;A;
A calendar full of wolves. It'ssobeautiful.
Everything else was from a Christmas hamper (from the Mustard Seed, I think) and so it was really really girly xD Since all mum could really fill out on the form was 'Felmale, 17' and my shoe & clothe sizes. So there was like, a big kit of make up brushes, a hair straightener(which actually looks really nice and I might actually use once in a while. And stfu about it being bad for your hair, I hardly care about my hair-health.), a pretty black leather purse thing, and a rather pretty jacket that won't fit me :/ The other things were just TOO girly. Like... frilly thongs. *shudder*
BUT THAR BE MY PRESENTS.
(Also, from a like a week ago that I forgot to mention--An Uglydoll (Poe; I LOVE HIIM) and a little Oogie Boogie figurine both from ~Skully-verse ;A; so much love! She was my Secret Santa AND she gave me an extra present sdgdfhbdfhbadfbn)

And the dinner was awesome, and the general interactions of ze family were awesome, and just... yeah.
Dun now.
Gonna go buy stuff tomorrow, as I have decided against the whole laptop idea. I just want Assassin's Creed 2 too much ;_;
(I got $50 from Sue for my birthday, and another $50 for Christmas, then my $100 allowance, so... yaay. Though I had to give my mum $40 of it for food/gas :/ )

Between everyone fawning over John & Emily's picture-present, and Emily's sister's boyfriend asking all these questions about my stuff(cause Emily's sister had shown him my DA page, lol) and what I'm thinking of doing career-wise to assuring me that I could definitely get a job in the field of art... It was very uplifting [: Especially since he does art stuff himself. More reassuring that way, for some reason.

I'm tired and hot. I'm going to bed; night.

I really want to do... something. Anything. I'm so bored. I want to draw something before The-Holiday-That-Shall-Not-Be-Named, and not necessarily FOR it...

Yesterday (my actual birthday) gots hugs and birthday wishes (and a lot of food, lol) from my friends at school, then after school some of them took me to get Bubble Tea as I had never had Bubble Tea before. It was an... interesting experience xD I got Bumbleberry, which was like blueberry, raspberry and strawberry or something, with coconut jellies (cause the tapioca bubbles... made me uncomfortable xD ) and it was good at first, but then... the coconut like, seeped into the juice and made it taste ginger-y, and I didn't like it xP so I gave it to Savvy, which was fine xD I also bought two little dragon charm things at the Bubble Tea place c:
Then we wandered around downtown for a while, to curious comics and stuff (got two new buttons One Savvy bought for me, and one Alix technically bought since she gave me the toonie for it. She also bought me the bubble tea <: ) then chapters cause Krissy had to meet her sister there... We we so offended by the giant Twilight display they had xD We kept making fun of it, and it was good times.
When Krissy left we meandered around the Bay Center for a while. Stopped in EB Games so I could drool over all the new games I want xD The left, and looked around at these neat dresses made from like... soup labels and garbage bags, and then we were getting tired and bored and we agreed to go home. :U
Got a ride home with Savvy courtesy of her rather awesome parents, who, as soon as I got in the car, sang 'Happy Birthday' really quickly xD It was awesome.
Then I came home, got my little personal-sized Black Forest cake, Subway sammich and $50 prezzie from Sue, then went right off to my mums. Then waited a few hours for Kitty to arrive, then basically went to bed.

AND THEN TODAY, went to lunch with mum and grandma and uncle + his girlfriend Emily. Food was gewd, but more importantly: PREZZIES!
- A big book of wolves from grandma (it's quite pretty)
- Two Copic multiliner inking pens from grandma (0.1 and 0.3. I'M SO HAPPY.)
- A copic wallet thing for the markers from mum (I had one already, but I needed another one xD )
- And the best of all, from my Uncle and Emily; THE LORD OF THE RINGS EXTENDED EDITION BOXSET ASDLPJAOGJSDFBDFGSDFASDCASDC ITS SO AMAZING. YOU'RE JEALOUS. I so want to watch at least one of the movies this weekend D:

Uhhh. It was cool and exciting when I first broke 50k words, now it's sort of... 'Mehhhh, I still need to work on it a looot...'

Writing class is all crappy now. We had to write a short story today... I'd say what mine was about but I might post it simply for the lolz. Cause it was really fucked up. And saying what it's about would give away the ending and bleh.

Uh... my Birthday is in 10 days (the 11. I'll be 17 btw.) and then of course Christmas on the 25... and I'm not at all excited for either of them. I know no one is getting me any presents (yes that's the first thing I think of. I am materialistic, bite me.) because theere was nothing I wanted that anyone would/could buy me.
I'm really talking about adults here since I'm not expecting stuff from friends since it's not like I'm getting them anything. I might draw a picture or something if I can get off my ass.
Everyone in my family like disaproves of electronics (and those that don't can't/don't give presents) and when I mention art supplies they're all for it, then they find out the prices and back out. It also probably doesn't help that there's not much I even want. An MP3 player would be nice, but it's expenisve and my PSP is good enough; I really wanted a laptop, but apparently the ministery is really anal about what kids in care do online, so I wouldn't be allowed to take it to my room or to school or anything that I actually want a laptop for. Assassin's Creed 2 is a want, but everyone that could'would buy he stuff fucking HATES videogames. Especially those rated M. Everything else is like DVDs and last year I got the DVD of Wall-E for my birthday from grandma, and that was it. Really.
Anyway that's it for my materialistic, greedy rant.

I haven't had a birthday party of any shape or form since I was like ten. Though I might go see the Princess and the Frog with friends or something (not that anyone else seems all that interested)... but it really doesn't look that good. Honestly. Really I would just be going to support tradtitional animation since it's dying such a sad death, and the animation does look good, but... the storyline doesn't.
As far as Christmas goes for like actually doing family stuff like dinner and whatnot, the last few Christmases have been absolutely horrible because of bad happenings creating guilt so this whole holiday just makes me feel like crap now.
<Emo>I DON'T EVEN DESERVE PRESENTS</Emo> and such.

Anyway. If any of you peeps felt like doing art for me for my birthday or something, that would really make my day.
