"Renegade!" Nuka turned on his heel and dashed back to the glass that separated the two, "Why you o'er there?!"

Renegade smiled at him as the glass locked in place, "Don't worry."

Nuka looked around in a panic, testing the glass for cracks, "You st-stuck?"

Renegade put his hands in his pockets calmly, "Yes."

Nuka's ears perked up as there was a faint gurgling sound, and a circular plate on the wall burst off with a stream of water, "Y-you gonna dwown!"

Renegade's smile softened, "I know."

"You can't dwown!!"

"Unfortunately, I can..."

"No!" Nuka stomped his feet and pounded on the glass, "Renni supposed to take care of Nuka!"

"I'm sorry, Nuka," Renegade sighed as the water swished around his ankles, "But I guess I can't watch over you anymore..."

Nuka shook his head as he started to cry, "But it not fair!" he punched the glass a few more times, until Renegade put his hand over the Aaquiec's, "Calm down," he said softly, "You've gotta be strong now, y'hear? Don't worry about me, alright? You're gonna have to take care of yourself from now on... I know you can do it."

The water was up to Renegade's waist, and rising fast, "N-no I can't!" Nuka sobbed, pressed against the glass.
"Stop it!" Renegade raised his voice, frowning, "You'll be fine on your own, I know it. You're smarter than you think..." Renegade glanced at the water as it got up to his shoulders, "Now hurry up and get out of here... You don't need to see this."
