Forgotten EaselForgotten Easel

The easel by the window
The most useful piece of furniture
That hasn't been used
In almost a year.
The unfinished canvas
Sits motionlessly
On the dark wooden ledge,
Waiting patiently
For just one day
Of creativity.
The pain is dried
In layers on fabric
Beyond the point of
Revision.
The blank white spots
Still scratched with silvery lead
Beg to be covered
So they won't have to face the world
Naked and exposed.
The tubes of paint
In the sliding drawer
Have never been used.
Rows of Acrylic,
Watercolour,
And unwanted Oils,
Sit neatly in the velvet
Protected from prying eyes.

There's plenty more I had wanted to add to this, but something's gone awry with the file and it won't let me edit anything anymore. So... I guess this is where it ends.
That and I just got tired of it and forgot about it a bit, so whatever.

For the curious, here's a couple pictures of all the characters you can dress up as. (there's non-character clothing as well) Official characters and my Original characters. I had obviously planned to put in more, but... flash is stupid, I guess.

Er, actually, that was purposeful. If only for the Invader ZIM "cosplay". If you mean the button disappeared, then yeah, that's a glitch.
